A forum for a game can generate a sense of community among the members. Especially with single player games, a forum can allow players to share their experiences and provide help and support to other less experiences players. Even with multiplayer games, forums can be used to talk about strategies, offer suggestions for new game types, or meet up with players you may have met in game.
